Comparing Samsung Galaxy Ace vs HTC Wildfire S

I actually got a request from one of ma group friends to help him out find out which one of these is better once and after ma long day of research and ma hands on experience on above two devices i have listed out the following points hope he gets his answer and many of u benefit with this. so lets start

Form and Display :

Samsung Galaxy Ace : when I first saw Ace it had a good sleek design and it weighted about 115g and it came out of the limelight of its little old version galaxy 2. It was scaled down nicely keeping some good fairly faltering points .

Wildfire S : It doesn’t look very different from the original Wildfire and it was a attractive set but it is dull

So Ace looks sleeker and much better than Wildfire and Ace wins the round

But when we compare the Ace display setup is not going to give you a boost in getting the mobile it has a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and has 164 dots per inch . The touchwiz 3.0 is the user interface used in Ace it has a gorilla glass screen, multi-touch input and an accelerometer sensor

On the other hand Wildfire has a small 3.2 inch screen and same TFT capacitive touchscreen and has a boost in dpi it has 180 dpi and got the same gorilla glass screen multi-touch input and accelerometer

The Wildfire screen may be smaller but it has a greater dpi which makes it as the winner

Processor and Storage:

The Wildfire has an internal storage RAM and is like 512mb and it can br upgraded to 32GB by Micro SD. But Ace has only 158MB internal memory and depends fully on Micro SD it can also be extended to 32GB

So this round is also won by Wildfire

Since the Wildfire processor is upgraded from the original Wildfire it clocks a speed of 600MHZ while Ace clocks up to 800MHZ the best in this part is Ace has a 200 graphic processing units. Neither of the two mobiles did well in this round but due to its few good features the round is won by Ace.

Operating System and Camera :

Wildfire runs on 2.3 gingerbread while Ace works on 2.2 Froyo. since both the mobiles work on the same Android base there is not much difference but even if Froyo can be changed to gingerbread it’s a set back for Ace if it had not given this upgrade it would have got a blow in this round

Since both are almost same it’s the user’s choice to chose the mobile if u ask me for this round its Wildfire

ACE has a 5-megapixel primary camera with auto-focus and LED flash and smile capture the video recording is VGA . there is no secondary camera for video calling.Wildfire also offers a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, auto-focus,. Common things in this round is Geo-tapping and some more which I mentioned above

Samsung offers a good camera feature and so Ace wins the round

My Final Advice:

After all seeing and using the mobiles and with all the points I gave above I would suggest people to go with HTC Wildfire because it has an cheep price advantage over Ace. But I never say that u should buy only Wildfire its my view and I welcome your thoughts and innovative ideas. hope this answers you and help some other also thank u
