Sony Ericsson in partnership with Electronic arts has announced the launch of four new game titles for Xperia Play smartphones. These titles are based on popular gaming titles earlier available for PC but are optimised now for Android operating system.These titles include popular gaming titles like Battlefield Bad Company 2, Dead Space, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed SHIFT. All of these games are based on the original game play and are only available in high definition.we finally have the pricing for sporty Sony Ericsson Xperia Active. According to a pre-order listing on Flipkart, Sony Ericsson Xperia Active will be sold for INR 19,990.It is expected to be released in last week of October, just before Diwali. Featuring Gingerbread and 1GHz processor, Xperia Active is dust and water resistant. It comes with 5MP camera, and 3-inch scratch-resistant display.
Although these games are also available for other high end Android devices, but these games are specially optimised for a better experience and compatibility with the Xperia Play devices. The games are available free of cost only to Xperia Play owners till 15 January 2012.
Xperia Play owners can download the games directly on their devices from within the 'Games' button in the menu while being connected to the WiFi network or can visit this link to do so.Company is also throwing one extra exchangeable soft touch back cover, Detachable ear hooks for the portable handsfree active headset and wrist strap along with an arm case with every unit of Xperia Active.
