Samsung Galaxy Tab Takes You Into The Future

The Galaxy Tab is a Tegra 2 tablet with a 10.1 inch screen and a dual core processor. This means that it will be able to run Onlive, the gaming streaming service which just launched for PC, Mac and MicroConsole in the UK this week. To date, Android devices have only a viewer, but there will be a player coming out soon, and that's one thing well worth future-proofing for.Samsung's racing team apparently uses the app to allow them to get more information about the laps that their riders do. I could imagine that working pretty well. I could imagine a powerful (and fast / responsive) tablet serving a vital role for looking up killmails or checking mission guides

There's plenty of other games that would be ideal for the Galaxy Tab too, such as Galaxy on Fire, and EA's HD games (e.g. Need For Speed Shift HD). In addition, most standard Android apps will run on the device. You may not want to take it out with you when you go jogging (so there's no point in having RunKeeper!), but apps such as Skype, a Ventrillo viewer, IRC, Facebook, and EVE Aura are invaluable. If you're looking for a high quality tablet with great screen quality, a fast processor (and gaming capable graphics), and decent battery life, then this is a great time to be getting into the tablet market.
